How this started

In 2020 nobody could get to a bakery, so we put the bakery in a bag — ready-mixes for the things people missed most.

Every mix came out of weeks of testing in one home kitchen: weighing, re-weighing, baking the same tray of blondies until it was right. This site is where all that testing lives now, written out in full and free to make.
