Our story

Two people, one oven, a very long lockdown.

Quarantine Cravings began in 2020, when Jaiveer and Raisa Talwar started making ready-mixes for popular baked goods so that people in lockdown could bake their favourite treats at home, easily, without hunting for ingredients.

Each mix was small-batch and developed through extensive recipe testing — brownies and blondies first, then cookies, cakes, breads and a gluten-free range. Alongside the mixes we kept a website of our favourite recipes, which is what this has become.

The kitchen is quieter now. The recipes are all still here, written out exactly the way we make them.

The first mixes go out — a brownie, a blondie, a cookie — packed at home and delivered locally.

The range grows to cakes, breads and a gluten-free line, all of it tested batch by batch.
